ABOUT

Brazilian Lyric soprano, graduated by UNESP (State University of São Paulo), Studio Opera of EMESP (State Music School of São Paulo). Was oriented by Isabel Maresca.

In 2011, was a singer of Centre de Perfeccionament Placido Domingo in Valencia – Spain, where had the opportunity of singing at Teatro Martin I Soler and Palau de la Musica.

Took place in many festivals and masterclasses, like 37o. and 38o. Winter Festival of Campos de Jordão, where was an active singer at Dame Kiri Te Kanawa’s masterclass.

Worked in many productions of professional operas, mostly singing principal roles, like: Lidchka in Moscow Tcheryomushki”, of D. Shostakovich, Adina in “L'Elisir D'Amore”, of G. Donizetti, Eurídice in “Orpheè aux Enfers”, of J. Offenbach, Änchenn in “Der Freischütz”, of C.M. Weber, Corilla in “Viva la Mamma”, of G. Donizetti; Fiordiligi in “Cosi fan tutte”, of  W.A. Mozart,  Àngele in “Le Dominò Noir” of D. Auber and Hanna, of “Die Lustige Witwe”, of Franz Lehar.

 

In 2008, Gabriella had her international debut at Gilbert and Sullivan’s Festival – England, singing the principal role (Josephine) from the opera “H. M. S. Pinafore”, and received the prize “Adjuricator’s Award”.

 

In November 2011, had her debut at the Theatro Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, singing Fata Morgana of “L’amour pour trois orange”,  S. Prokofiev.

In September 2014, debuted Desdemona from “Otello", G. Verdi, at the Teatro da Paz of Belém- PA,  where had the opportunity to work with Walter Fraccaro.

In 2018, debuted The First Orphan from "Der Rosenkavalier", at the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, conducted by Roberto Minczuk.

  • 1st. Honor Mention – International Singing Competition of  Trujillo – Peru (2012)

  • 1st. Prize – VI Competition of Lyric Singers – Campinas – Sp. (2013)

 

Actually works at Companhia Ópera Curta, a State of São Paulo regular program, where plays Mimi from “La Bohème”, G. Puccini; Micaela from “Carmen”, Bizet and Violetta from “La Traviata”, G. Verdi.
